There’s little chance to commune with nature in such bleak weather, so why not bring a bit of the outdoors in? I’ve been looking for the best birds to brighten up your decorative scheme. To avoid a look that’s too folksy and twee, stick to monochrome colours or silhouetted forms. Sculptural ceramics in earthy tones are ideal, but you can’t beat a simple reusable wall decal for ease and affordability.
